We all know that the New Xbox Experience is a fancy way of re-skinning the Xbox's current "blade" interface and adding Mii Avatar support.  While a new look is nice, many of us paid hard earned Imperial Credits for our current themes and they suit us quite well, thank you very much.  Not to fear!  The fine folks at Gamerscore Blog have descended from their perch upon high to allay your doubts and worries.

Not only will your old themes still be viable in the new format, they'll look even better, theoretically.  In addition to old themes being supported, some of the new themes will be slightly animated.  Avatars will also take an active role on the background representing what your friends are doing and even grouping together when partied.  All in all, it seems pretty exciting.  Well, as exciting as a glorified menu system can be, which is sort of exciting.
